Hand painted slipware teacup 1

£36.00

A wheel-thrown mug in white clay, dipped in white slip and hand painted with a cobalt wash.

I try to make each one a little different - with different flicks of movement. I love the traditional colour of white and blue, and the fact that this technique was one the UK was famous for across Europe from the 1600s.

9.5cm x diameter 10cm

500ml / 18 fl.oz

Dishwasher and microwave safe, but hand wash if possible
