My partner was working in Portland, Oregon, so I became a member at Morning Ceramics, a studio in central Portland, to practice my throwing. It was just before Christmas, so I set myself the goal of production throwing, planning to fly them home to Christmas markets - which I did!

Morning Ceramics had some beautiful glazes and great masterclass courses - through who I found soda firing potters. It’s a very friendly and welcoming community, here!
